School Based Registered Nurse | Pittsburgh, PA | Starting Pay $30/Hour

ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district in Pittsburgh, PA that is in need of a licensed registered nurse for the spring semester. This position will be working second or third shift at a boarding school with students who are considered medically fragile. The available positions are 3pm - 11pm or 11pm -7am. We are looking for candidates who are available to start working immediately and have an active RN license + active CPR/AED certifications. The starting pay for this position is $30/hour+ healthcare benefits.   • Working with special education students and students with intellectual/physical disabilities 
  • Candidate must be prepared to assist with various medical needs, including but not limited to; vent, trach, non ambulatory, diabetes care, allergy care, seizures, NPO, GERD, Partial Trisomy 18, hearing impairment, wheelchairs, G-tube feeding, toileting, lifting, diapering, repositioning, bus riding, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Active RN license required
  • Active CPR/AED certification
  • In schools experience preferred
  • Fingerprinting, drug screen & background check will be required of all candidates
  • Special education experience required
  • Interest in schools and education preferred
